, her oc Haruka~
_{Actually a commission I owe from AX ROFL. The previous one is too lolol;;; I ran out of time at the con. orz /going to hell}

Because Haruka could be 春花 (spring flower), I decided to draw some flowers that bloom in spring for the bg~ Cherry blossoms, Iris Flowers, Forget-Me-Not, and Tulips.

do you ever do wet-on-wet? i like water color but my paper ends up buckling towards the end,i know that you can iron it to smooth it out but id rather prevent it.

The paper wrinkles because the wet area expands. You can try soaking the paper in water first, then putting it on a wooden board and stapling the edges to make sure it stays nice and flat. Wet on wet would probably be a bit easier after that? ovo

Personally I just put the paper under books or something when it's still half way drying, but that's not really wet on wet.
